House of Cards Season 6 - Jumping an ocean full of sharks (Spoilers)
I am 6 episodes into this final season, which is lurching from one unbelievably contrived plot twist to the next. I thought earlier seasons were stretching it, but this one takes the cake.
Why our Madam President would feel the need to pretend she had gone off the deep end for a month, causing her Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, then showing up at the meeting where the Cabinet had gathered to sign their letter to Congress, then using that almost signing as an excuse to fire the entire Cabinet en masse when that option is open to the president any day of the week is a display of really bad plot development and unimaginative writing.
Couple that with the fact that murder seems to be the favored way of taking care of ones political opponents and you have the plot of a video game, not political life in DC.
This series probably should have stopped after Season 3.
