(3,131 posts)I saw that twilight zone where the girl went through the wall behind her bed into another dimension. That was real?!? Did the dog come back?
It does explain how things do seem to disappear behind my sofa.

(7,397 posts)He had cataracts for the last few years of his life. In 2014 I put my house up for sale, later took it off the market because I did not think he could not negotiate a new environment. It wasn't worth the money to me to sell and move. By that time he was pretty much blind. He was able to navigate the home he was familiar with by smell, touch and sound.
I understand your attempt at humor. I get it. But to me it is in bad taste. It certainly isn't creative or funny. That is the most civil response I can muster to a horrible OP.

(9,696 posts)Kind of mean of those people to not walk the dog to the spot where the couch was. Or put a pillow there.
But on the dogs part, pretty smart how he learned just how many steps to the couch.

What I find most amazing about such dogs is they overcome their handicaps and go through life seemingly unaware of what they are missing. I think we can appreciate what makes them special.

Our canine and feline companions all deserve better.
