and little lambs eat ivy, kids eat ivy too, wouldn't you" was a song about what farm animals eat. I thought it was just some random sounds put together.

It's sung quite rapidly and almost as a tongue twister. Unless you see the words they're hard to decipher.

Since I've never known anyone who eats horsemeat I've not thought of it as a song about food I eat. I also wouldn't "eat ivy too" since there are some types that can have some nasty side effects. Eep!
