While I usually post on DU over my desktop, I frequently use my phone to browse on it (and occasionally post).
Today I started coming across an annoying issue when looking at DU on my phone.
Basically there are now banner ads that obscure the top quarter of my screen. I can click an arrow to minimize it but every time I refresh or look on a different page it comes back and its extremely annoying.
This just started today for me. Does anyone else have this problem?

(63,645 posts)If the ads are covering the content on mobile, you need to load the most recent mobile stylesheet:
1) on a page that is not rendering properly, click the refresh button on your mobile browser.
2) If that doesnt work, open the mobile stylesheet directly, and then click refresh on your browser. The mobile stylesheet is here: https://www.democraticunderground.com/styles/style-mobile.css
3) of course, you can also make the ads disappear by becoming a DU subscriber: https://www.democraticunderground.com/star
Not sure if the desktop site has been updated yet. If there are problems with desktop a shift+refresh should fix it.
