I am shocked and thrilled! I had to get on and off the scale four times because I didn't believe it.
Some of the stuff in the plan is vile -- the tomato soup is the worst -- so some of it's going to waste, which isn't good. But as I go on I'll find the stuff I like and it'll get easier.
I am very happy!!

(19,360 posts)Sorry the food isn't the most savory, but as they say: "No Pain, No Loss". Or something like that.

(30,715 posts)Even if you hit a plateau, keep with it. Weight loss goes very slowly for me, but it goes. That may happen to you when you are further along and have less to lose. Don't let it derail you.
I know what you mean about getting on and off the scale to look at the new weight. It's fun, isn't it?
Keep up the good work!

(32,074 posts)Congratulations! When I did the Optifast thing, it took me 3 weeks to lose that amount, and that was while sticking to it 100% AND exercising at least an hour a day. I must have the slowest metabolism on the planet.
Sorry to hear that the food sucks. I hope you can find some herbs and spices to doctor it up and make it more palatable. It will get easier as you go along. The first week of a diet is always the hardest.
