Only ONCE has a stranger EVER just given me free drugs and that was at a memorial for Jerry Garcia.
Ok, one other time there was a guy with a van who asked me if his wash cloth smelled like chloroform, but I dont remember that time nearly as well as the Garcia memorial.

(3,569 posts)I was at a DSO (amazing Dead cover band) show in SF. A guy was smoking some pot so I asked if he could spare a toke. He passed the joint (how quaint) and said "Would you like some LSD?" I, of course, said sure and he handed me a strip of blue gels. I remembered them from the 80's, but hadn't seen any for a long time. The guy went into the whole story about an underground cache of the best of the best and that was where these came from. The best they were. Exceptionally clean. One hit was incredible. Like the old days. The only bummer was my city, San Francisco, was so ugly after the show. The homeless. The desperation. Junkies shooting up in public.
I kept the rest and have been tripping a lot since. Great to have around.
I did however know exactly what show the band played that night, the first one at Shoreline. (DSO does a specific show the Dead played, even uses the same gear and adjusts the lineup every night).
A few weeks ago I was at a festival and told some people my cancer story. A complete stranger asked me if I would like some LSD. Of course, I said. The guy handed me some Orange Sunshine! He referred to the secret cache as to how he acquired his stash. The real thing too. I sold enough to know. I've got a few stash hits im planning on doing on New Years.
