On Netflix there is a series called Age of Tanks If you were to watch S1: Ep.2 does anyone else see any modern day comparisons?

(1,975 posts)There is a lot of US, German, Polish, Russian, and even French relationships, almost more so than it is about tanks. The entire series is amazing, but I am a WWII Tank nerd.

Separation
(1,975 posts)I hope I spelt that right. But ironically it was a joint German Russian tank school set up after WWl. The Germans sent their tankers to learn skills deep into Soviet territory away from the prying eyes of the Versailles Agreement. Because after WWI Germany and tanks were verboten.
So Stalin purged everything and everyone related to Germany.
The cyclist nature of history has already been filmed for our entertainment.
