How many of you have gotten permanently banned on DU and have had to create a new user ID?

I have been on DU since 2002.

I was mad at Obama when I thought he caved on public option ..I said something and BOOM I was banned.

I appealed many times - but to no avail.


It would be nice to get my Old Id back. Because while I am Le Gaucher .. I used to be someone else ..

Creating a thread in which you state you were banned, lost all your appeals and created a new username to beat the rules doesn't sound like something mods will take lightly.

4. I think the threshold should be greater

I was banned by accident several years ago. I was never made aware of an objectionable post. I successfully appealed.
I think banning should be for serial rule breakers.
Nevertheless, I think the administrators want us to be circumspect when we criticize democrats.
