Harvey (a rescue) was definitely a Pointer of some kind (Braque D'Auvergne I thought), but a little bigger, with some features that made us guess he had some Great Dane in him ...
Watching this I'm sad we never took him to the snow, he totally would've loved it. Or the Beach, for that matter.

(426 posts)....Of course you've heard of "Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer". But have you heard of "Randolph The Brown-Nose Reindeer?"
He followed too close behind Rudolph!

(6,831 posts)What must wander through a dog's mind when the snow is deeper than he is tall ?
I laughed out loud when he totally disappeared and all we could see was the surface snow moving.

(23,097 posts)She's a rescue, but not as hyper as Bailey. We wanted a half Siberian, half lab, but they moved over 1000 miles away, too far to go get her. After all the Christmas decorations and tree are all put away, we'll get serious. It's just so hard when we had the perfect dog for 15 years. Jan. 9th will be the anniversary of his passing,
There's also the fact that we have 3 cats, 1 of whom is a rescue who is still fighting with our 15 and 16 year old cats. I had to rescue Basil yesterday when Coco, rescue kitty, caught him eating her food. She had chased him down the hall and he was on his back with her all blown up and about to pounce again. Luckily they know I don't approve, so they back down soon as I reach them.
