So after my optometrists appointment Im like hey I need coffee. So we go through drive thru and I ordered the furry guys cheeseburger each ,well I paid and sitting at first window my chocolate lab sitting in back seat saw his refelection in drive thru window.
Yup he totally came unglued hackles were up barking in back seat with his head out the window, because he thought a dog was in Mac Donalds. The woman at the first window had the window shut and she was probably thinking what is wrong with this dog barking at me.
Finally the line started moving and we got to the pick up window, man is my burger in that bag that strange dog might have taken it the golden retriever and I were like well he is special hes the family pet.

(22,114 posts)I get them a chicken sandwich each, and me two fish filets ... I don't do it all of the time but hey, it's my kids and they sometimes deserve a treat after going on errands w/ me and putting up w/ the waiting while I'm in the stores (I got three of them).
They never bark, except of course when they see another dog being walked or in another car.

(34,108 posts)but on a trip with the dogs we were starving and gave in. We got each of the dogs a burger and everyone ate the meat inside and the cheese then licked the buns but would not eat the buns. We were traveling so we stopped one more time a few days later and the same thing happened. Different state. I don't eat the buns anymore, in fact I have probably only been there twice outside of those 2 times in the last 7 years so.........
Love the story. Love your lab barking at the dog in the window. I miss my labs, they are wonderful dogs. I miss our goldens, they are also wonderful dogs. We are on to standard poodles now, also wonderful dogs except the hair. No shedding but it grows so fast and on the farm, well........a mess.
Watch those buns, you might want to take the buns off. You never know but twice in two different states? Made me worry about it.
