I've been told off by a cat who wanted the salmon 'right now' but that was a one off. And yeah, Squirty get a piece after it cooled a bit

I stood up and growled at the misbehaving cat.

Luckily, my kitties were very well behaved. Usually one sharp hand clap did the trick to make them stop whatever they were doing. I never hit them and they never attacked me.

Max looks exactly like my Snickers did, right down to the white patch and the muddy brown-gray fur on his tummy.
