I gave a little cash in a card, a box of candy, and a little mistletoe decoration. What amount do you think was good? I get at least one delivery every week.

(8,445 posts)I really don't get that many deliveries from FedEx, though the coming year may be different. I started ordering pet stuff from Chewy, and those pails of cat litter are heavy. I decided I really didn't want to lug those home from the store anymore. But I digress....
This year the only people I tipped were the trash collectors. I'm still feeling kind of scroogish about the mail guy because of the package throwing incident a couple of weeks ago.
I'm sure your FedEx person was thankful.
2 of mine are from chewy, seems to be a pretty good service. the local Tractor Supply quit carrying the dog food we like and I was having to go all the way to Tucson.

(55,007 posts)the UPS guy quit being as courteous and it seems most of the stuff I have been getting lately have been fedex anyway. don't know how that gets decided in corporate-land but there it is. I try to use the Post Office as much as I can but this year we have a new guy who isn't learning too fast, in fact the sub was back and I wonder if the new guy quit. I just gave the sub some mistletoe this year. Probably not appropriate for the "work place" but it is a natural product from the ranch and so kind of unique so I do it anyway.

(1,975 posts)and we live OUT a ways, very snowy roads, roaming moose, etc. We don't get a ton of FedEx or UPS deliveries (they don't disappoint, either) so we leave them the same as our very hard working postal carrier - $20, a card, and a small box of Rocher candies. Postal carrier also gets homemade cookies, because he knows we aren't going to do anything off. Hope this helps!
And merriest of holidays to you and yours, Kali!

Have a great Christmas (or whatever) yourself!
We are far off any "beaten track" on a gravel (or ice/snow) road - still, they don't quit! One carrier had a box too big for our mail post - so walked up the long drive and left it on the porch. I admire all of them so much. No interstates here!
