A dachshund will dig to China without even caring what he is supposed to bring back. Those dogs love to dig. Just tap the ground, like in the video and away they go!!!

I have one mini now that is about 14 yrs old. Got him at one year from ASPCA. Have had two others in the past. They can be determined to the point of obsessiveness, but great little doggies.

I loves me some Dachshies - my Hans lived to be 18! I still miss him. We have a neighbordog Dachshund who is hysterically funny in deep snow like Hans was. (I didn't name him; adopted at shelter when 5 months old.)

He LOVED to ride in any car, and would prop up at the front passengers window so he could nose out and ear flop even at 30 below.

Damn. Going to the shelter this weekend!
