Look, I know that oral rape DOES happen, but my question is . . .

why would a man take the risk that a woman might decide to bite down very very very hard? And go for his balls next?

I'm not asking why a woman wouldn't defend herself -- I know how a woman could feel paralyzed by the threat. I just don't understand how a guy can take the chance that this time he might get a biter.

(The reason this comes up is because of the story involving Lt. Gov. Fairfax. I'm not just wondering this out of the blue.)

1. You realize the man would certainly survive such a bite....

and still do serious harm to the woman, right?

3. In some cases, couldn't he be momentarily distracted -- long enough for a woman to get away?

Are you saying that no man would ever worry about someone biting into him?

7. Well, of course getting bitten on the dick is a concern

but only for a man who has his dick in a place it isn't welcome in the first place!

I suppose the initial HOLY SHIT SHE'S BITING MY DICK OFF!! reaction would be enough for her to get out of his grasp and a head start, but we are talking a rape scenario here, right? It's violent by definition. Unless, as she is leaving, she is able to break his legs, he can still run after her.

Frankly, getting kicked in the balls a couple times will do more to stop him than chomping on his willy. I have seriously wracked mine once or twice in my life (as I suppose most guys have) and it will debilitate a guy for several minutes.

8. What prompted the question was the report that a woman

has accused Justin Fairfax of forcing himself on her that way. But since the details are so scant I have no idea what her full story will turn out to be, and how much violence she is alleging.

as I am not a woman nor am I a rapist. I can not intelligently speak to the horror a woman must go through in that sort of trauma nor can I remotely contemplate being the Perpetrator ( a better word than "instigator" ) of it.

5. I wasn't asking from the woman's point of view. It just seems like it would be risky

from the guy's point of view.

Maybe rapists are fucking idiots that don't consider the consequences of their actions?

Or don't care?

10. There was an episode of Law & Order SVU that addressed your question

Detective Benson went undercover in a women's prison where there were multiple allegations of sexual assault by the guards. She presents herself as a convicted criminal and eventually the bad guy gets her alone in a storage room where he forces her to perform oral sex. He pulled his service weapon and pointed at her head and said she better not hurt him or else.

In the context of the Lt. Governor, of course, I doubt there was the threat of a weapon or this would probably have been reported sooner. My citing of the fictional episode was simply to answer your question using an example. As other posters commented, any rape is an act of violence and the victim is always at a considerable disadvantage.
