Dad would have been 90 years old today......

He died 20 days short of his 71st birthday. He was a 15 year veteran of the Marine Corps. The always good Irishman, he enlisted in the Marines on St. Patrick's day, 25 days after his 18th birthday. He served in China, Korea (Frozen Chosin Survivor). Then stateside, where he married mom & had 4 kids.

He was a strong Union man. He called Reagan an f...ing, Union Buster. He was a solid Democrat. In a way I'm glad he didn't see the 2000 election & its aftermath.

If he were alive today, I can just imagine what he would be thinking and saying. Miss you Dad.

So sorry he sounds like he was a wonderful dad. My dad would have been 90 this year too. Ilost him about ten days before he turned 68. I often wonder what he would have thought of Trump too, not much I’m sure like your dad.
