My finches are turning to their summer colors.......

It’s March 5th, 10 degrees and windy, and my finches are slowly turning to thieir beautiful yellow. Spring truly is coming.

4. I was watching the 7:00 a.m. TV news last week. CBS, I guess.

A reporter was on the White House lawn. Something stirred in the tree behind and flew down to the ground, out of view. It hopped back into view. It was a blue jay. I haven't seen one of those in a while. It's not a rare bird here (northern Virginia), but I haven't seen one around all winter.

5. It's a sign of Spring......it's coming, it really is.

6. I saw a bluebird on one of the boxes other day

If they're looking for accommodations, that's a good sign. I think its supposed to be 9 degrees here tonight in southern KY.

My daffodils are starting to come up.

7. Bluebirds are kinda rare here, they're here, just hard to see......
