Ye gawds! (Weather related by me)

We have freezing rain, and it's windy as all get out. (Sheboygan, WI)

As a result, ice builds up on the trees on the opposite side of the driveway, and it falls off and is blown into my window by wind gusts.

Makes a clattering noise that sounds awful.

Update: Used my cell phone to tape some of it.

I hope that it will end soon, and that your windows survive the onslaught. We have (mostly) escaped freezing rain out here, in western Oregon, but we have had far more snow and cold weather than is usual for this time of year. I hope you stay safe and warm at your home.

The wind blowing doesn't come across in the video, but the sound of ice chunks hitting your windows does. I hope it ends soon. We are having sunny and cold weather out here today. Hopefully it will reach your area soon. I hope you can stay home today. I know nothing does a really good job of providing good traction on solid ice.
