...I've reached the point of advanced Old Fogeyism. It seems a natural thing--baseball now has "advanced analytics", and I'm an advanced Old Fogey. This is not a total coincidence. I'm sorry, but 13-man pitching staffs are making the game a travesty...

4 hour games and endless commercials, kingly salaries for average ballplayers, greedy owners with no ties to the community, taxpayers funding ballparks for said owners.
Mind you I don't watch pro football and very little pro basketball.
When homers started flying out like slow-pitch softball games in the 90s, baseball was no longer fun.
