In '56 and '57 my dad was stationed in Sidi Slimane, Morocco.
There was no radio, except the call to prayer. Nothing except
classical music at the PX. If I had good grades (straight A's). I got
a record. Shostakovich, Mozart, Bach. When we got back to the states,
Blue Suede Shoes was a hit.
