(12,618 posts)I have a former friend (became a Trumper, we haven't spoken since) who worked for a Harley Davidson dealership. Go behind the counter there, and you will find 7 or 8 grizzled old bikers who have permanent limps, arms that don't extend all the way, canes, and scars from road rash. All from doing shit like this when they were younger.
And these were the ones who lived.

(22,191 posts)weren't caused by them, it was the other vehicle, not seeing them...one accident was due to a manufacturing defect. It is easy to miss these bikes especially with lots of drivers being distracted (and they shouldn't be while driving) by texting, cell phones, playing / changing the radio station/music, etc.
