I got a little misty eyed when he spoke about feeling like he didn't fit in anywhere and then hearing The Cure (and college radio) for the first time. The end was great, too.

Roxy Music were fantastic
The Cure
Radiohead
The Zombies
even Def Leppard gave a good performance (with Brian May even)

Yes, the end was really good. Ian Hunter et al. He still sounds good.

HBO will probably be rerunning it for anyone who didn't catch it.

It’s been over a quarter of a century since The Cure created anything musically relevant. Trotting them and their contemporaries out now feels sad, and this is from a guy who knows every word and learned every bassline from every Cure album put out up to about ‘91.

Maybe I’m just grumpy.
