I bought the CBD oil and so far, I'm impressed

I'm starting out with a small bottle of the 'full spectrum' strength, taking 1/2 dose, sub lingual, in the morning, and 1/2 dose just before bed.

It seems to be helping. Although I sleep only slightly longer, I don’t awaken curled up in a very tight fetal position, feeling more exhausted than when I went to bed. That means no morning body or head aches, which were an every morning burden. I'm not finding myself staring off into space, worrying about a million different things while feeling like someone just laced me into too small of a corset. That was a daily, sometimes multi daily, occurrence. What I do feel is unusually (for me) calm - almost relaxed - with an increased amount of focus and a drastically decreased amount of fretting. No doubt, with time, my energy level will increase, too, because feeling constantly stressed and anxious is draining. If this improvement continues, I’m going to be pissed as hell, at myself, for not trying this much, MUCH sooner.

Once edibles become available, they will replace the nightly dose. Until then, I'm going to be grateful that a local, reputable and reliable source of CBD oil has been located.

I've been watching the CBD threads while considering getting some for my cat with FHS. I appreciate your description of how the effects are making you feel, and what it is helping with.

Sending you positive energy for continued (and more!) relief.

Thanks to ridiculous laws marijuana and CBD have not been researched as well as they should have been for potential beneficial effects. Still, this rush to put CBD in almost everything and claim it's got all these amazing properties is looking like a gold rush rather than something based on science. Scientific research is going forward in small steps but those who are looking at it have expressed caution. Said one:
“we don’t know what CBD does to a healthy person. We have absolutely no idea,” says Piomelli.
From the aticle: Though pot smokers and edibles eaters have been consuming CBD via marijuana for years, the distilled compound, taken regularly, could have different effects. The lack of regulation means that there could be more CBD in those cupcakes than you bargained for, or that sometimes other compounds are mislabeled as CBD, like a synthetic cannabinoid sold as “Yolo CBD oil” that poisoned five patients in December 2017, causing seizures and hallucinations.

4. It seems to be working for me, at this point, which is a HUGE relief

I've heard and read mixed reviews about the effectiveness, so I went into this as a semi-skeptic. I figure that if it's a placebo effect, I'll know soon enough, which is why I started with the smallest bottle they had.

I do know I will pay little, to no, attention to anything released by any of the big pharma companies. And, the more they come out against it, the more I'll figure it's well worth the price.

The way I see it is, I'm no longer young, and my time on this planet is entering the 'shorter' phase. If this can help me relax, sleep, eat, and start to enjoy life, again, then I'm not going to worry about what may happen, down the road. And, really, when you listen to those drug commercials about the questionably chemically infused solutions they shill on TV, what the hell worse kind of side or long term effect could this have, in comparison to what they spew on those ads.

6. If it works for you that's great

But it's not just big pharma that is ripping people off. I just rely on science before making claims. But I use mj and enjoy it and think it may have some beneficial effects on my pain. We just need to do a lot more research on it and CBD because it definitely has shown to have lots of possible benefits in different areas.

7. I'm in Michigan, and anxiously awaiting for our 'shops' to open

I really am most looking forward to being able to purchase things like edible hard candies. I don't mind a toke, here and there, but I really got out of the habit, for too long, and that smoke does make me cough!

My sister had some of the hard cannabis candies and she tossed a few my way (she had a card). I could break them down to small pieces, and it was the perfect amount to just take the edge off of my anxiety. It was at the time she, my mom and my aunt were all at the 'end stage' of various diseases, and I was an emotional wreck. I was amazed that such a small amount could make such a big difference.

No doubt what I'm experiencing now is just the leftover emotional baggage added to the angst of living in trumponian times.

...they are a cpl amazon review sites where you can get this stuff cheap and sometimes free ..for your dogs too...I dont want to put the info in a public forum but i can send you the info privately.

Hopefully your state will legalize this soon. So many people can benefit from it. Its nice to just drive to the corner pot store and pick up what I want. The hard candies are about 10mcg (mg?)...whatever it is, its TEN.... each and thats considered one dose.I usually take 2 for sleep.

10. Michigan has legalized cannabis but they're still working on the licensing of shops.

At least that's the story. They said it could be up to 2 years before things are straightened out!! Which, I think is ridiculous. We can legally own and grow but "retail buying" is still not an option, without a card. CBD oils, however, are popping up in a lot of places. I am just being careful about which sources I use. I found a 'healthy living' store that has a great reputation, and that's where I got the bottle I'm using, now.

Please do PM me the info!

You can control thre dosage pretty well and find one that suits you. I also started vaping but that makes me cough as well. They just make me feel better about the world, as you point out, in these trumpian days. I also feel a lot of gratitutde when I use them, for whatever reason. Good luck with it going forward.

8. I have been using it for @9 months - it is hard to remember the pain I was in
Mon May 13, 2019, 04:58 PM

back then. I have severe arthritis in my back. Back then I could not straighten up fully. Walking at all was painful.

Walking is no longer as painful, I can walk much better, but still not very far without pain. I do actually pain free periods that I never had before.

I have started mowing my yard with an electric push mower this year. I tried toast year but it was so painful. I have to take somewhat frequent breaks, but the pain is not debilitating this year.

I would sure like to speak with a consultant about dosage and purity. I live in one of those states where it ain't legal. We have to travel to another state to purchase and I believe I would be subject to penalty if found with it.

my jogging from 3 miles a couple of times a week to 5 miles 4 or 5 days a week. Less pain and better times.

I'd really suggest you get your Michigan Medical card. You'll be able to get better medical doses and pay less.
