(4,604 posts)Just who the hell do they think is trying to get into everything?? Why do items in a sealed package also have to be individually wrapped and sealed? It's so wasteful. The produce section at the store, with their individually wrapped potatoes, coconuts, sprigs of herbs, etc. kills me.
Our dry cat food switched to a new bag material and I had to literally saw the bag open with a serrated knife yesterday. The very sharp kitchen shears didn't even make a dent. Neither did my regular scissors. Don't even get me started on super tightly vacuum-sealed food with the built-in, supposedly reusable zippers (lookin' at you, Johnsonville brauts. And blocks of cheese). Gah.
Freakin' wrappers and packaging.

(70,681 posts)And as somebody posted above, the wrappings being *so* sturdy/tough that teeth or tools are needed!1 Same thing goes for all the other annoying side of things, not the purpose of what any of them are intended for.
The key word is "daily," having to do the same crappy things eternally recurrently!1
