On the radio, I could only pick up Rush Limbaugh, Christian talk radio, and of course, Christian music.

I listened to this one radio preacher do a talk show, where he answered some of the common misconceptions about Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel.

This is what I remember …

The first humans, were about 9 feet tall and genetically perfect. Because of their perfect DNA, incest was possible, and indeed the only way to ensure the mantra of “be fruitful and multiply.”

Adam and Eve had 137 children, not two.

They remained 9 feet tall up until around the time of Noah.

The average lifespan was on the order of 800 years. Methuselah lived to be something like 960.

In each successive generation, small mutations were introduced to the DNA. It's what DNA does.

The people got shorter and genetically more imperfect with each generation. Incest is now an issue due to recessive traits.

I am an avowed atheist.

I wish I could have back the brain cells that that are storing this information in my head.

must have satellite radio in my car.

Driving through various Appalachian chains, even if you can find a station you can listen to, it disappears in about 15 minutes.
