great gals. 
While growing up in Chicago, one of the stations (WGN?) used to broadcast the Porter Wagoner show with Dolly. She did live commercials for towels - in "Boxes of Breeze" detergent. Loved her then, and still do.
Regarding Cher - - she's always been a legend, and always will be.
