My first thought was--she was bit by a rattler. We had a mini-doxie in Calif that happened to, his head swelled up like that. Overnight in the emergency clinic, and we still lost him.
Glad this pupster had a much happier ending.

My chahajua/corgi mix rosie looked like that after an encounter with a fire ant mound. Shot of benadryl and the next day she was back to normal.
