I received a sale advertisement in the mail from Harbor Freight.

It was a small catalog showing all of the items in their big Memorial Day sale.

On the front of the catalog it said in big letters...URGENT BLOWOUT.

I called up their corporate office and asked them not to send me anymore of those advertisements.

I have had my fair share of "urgent blowouts". I don't need any additional ones from the likes of Harbor Freight.

Pry bars, clamps...things like that.

I've been ruminating for months on whether I should buy their Hercules brand sliding miter saw. It looks to be of very high quality, and I've read nothing but good reviews about it. Still can't pull the trigger on buying it yet...I'm not sure why.

Going there is not just a shopping experience it is a pilgrimage! My wife doesn't believe that we need two tape measures in every room in the house, but I always take the coupons and get the freebies.

and magnetic bowls! We used to give a new flashlight to our grandkids when we went camping and kept several dangling on hooks in the camper. Handy!

My husband even gave me a tape measure to put in my craft supplies. And recently I bought a revolving 3 tiered tray to hold craft supplies. Paid less than 20 bucks and at a craft store it would have been closer to 80!

and they are a whole lot less expensive than what I could buy elsewhere. Of course the puck lights are all around the house and come in handy when the electric goes out or I just need a flashlight for something.

Have you ever used those headlamps? I love those things.

Metal bowls too. I have several of them stuck to the side of my tool chest and I use them almost daily.

I'm in my office now, and I have a 25' Stanley power lock., a cloth tape measure, and buried in my file cabinet somewhere is a cheapo 12 footer I think. So 3 in this room, and then probably 1 in each of the other rooms.

I have no idea why I have at least one in each room!
