Is anyone else's DU time stamp way off?

7. OMG I ran a 1969 Honeywell mainframe

I used to put those tapes in and hand wind them - one time I merged a dozen tapes into one to input into a job - when that tape errored out I took it off the drive and sailed it across the room frisbee-style, over the disk drives and it smashed into the wall. Then I did the merge again. The next day there was a note from my boss: THE NEXT TIME YOU DESTROY A TAPE, CLEAN IT UP. Those were the days my friend.

9. heh, I was a hot head

I called in a hardware guy to fix the card reader (!!!) and he said, "THIS HERE FOOTPRINT LOOKS LIKE THE SIZE OF YOUR FOOT". To be fair, kicking it was always the first troubleshooting step.
