It seems to reset itself back to the new Twitter at times and for reasons I haven't figured out, but I made it through Mueller Day in the old format. Yes! I miss my cover picture, too.

(8,901 posts)but I found this technique by searching for #oldtwitter, where I think people are voicing their opinions. Or maybe it was #newtwitter? In any case, there are many people feeling this pain. Yes, it's a #firstworldproblem, but it really seems dramatic and abrupt.

(8,901 posts)And it does happen. I haven't figured out what triggers that--clicking links within posts seems to be the precipitator, but not always.
