go back in. After speaking with them she surmised that the office had received a fax. The staff didn’t know they had a fax machine. At first they just stood around and stared at it until one brave soul poked it with a broom stick before they all ran out the door!

They were given ten minutes. For som reason, they kept picking up the handset, and putting it back down on the cradle.

Their ten minutes expired without success, but it was hilarious!

7. When fax machines were first a thing in offices

There was a story from Pittsburgh about a young intern who was told to fax a document to the Kansas City office. Off he went, and the boss didn't think anything further of it. Until about two hours later, when he got a call from Kansas City: "How many times are you going to send these same eight pages?" Upon investigation, young feller is feeding the document in to the fax machine, and boss asks him how it's going. "Well, I keep trying to send this to Kansas City, but it just keeps coming out the other end of the machine."
