We were planning to be there that night but something came up.
They were traveling on a riverboat on the Mississippi and had planned a rally in front of the old courthouse with a clocktower.
Very picturesque small town Americana.
The boat arrived way late and I guess they tried to do what they could at the late hour. There are several great photos of that happy night.

that Al and Tipper would end up divorced while Bill and Hillary stayed together. Life is so unpredictable.

I never doubted for one minute that Bill and Hill regarded the prize of their life as Chelsea and stayed together to keep the family whole. And, I believe they really love each other. They have been through too much together.
