with turtles and know how they react when scared. If the kitten was terrified, he wouldn't have stuck around. I've lived with cats all my life and I know cat behavior. Give me a break. I don't do animal torture videos.

will hide in its shell with the "doors" shut. All turtles and tortoises will hide in their shells when they're scared. I don't know what was on the turtle's mind, but the kitten was play-attacking a strange creature in a defensive posture because he didn't know what it was. If he'd actually been frightened he'd have run away.

It was pulled out - and kitteh had its fur up.

and probably deals with all sorts of odd events. The kitten was being curious.

Neither creature was traumatized by the interaction. Turtles deal with more nerve-racking experiences in the wild and the kitten wasn't likely to be frightened by a slow moving cobble stone with feet.
