The one day that it's okay to eat a corn dog, an Earthquake Burger, a full-fat cup of chocolate milk, curly fries, scones...

Can't wait...

I live within walking distance of the fairgrounds, so I don't even have to pay for parking...

after a deer took him out on his motorcycle leaving him with 7 broken ribs and a lacerated spleen.

Tonight he is sitting next to me on the couch at home watching last week's recorded Seahawks game.

Dodged a bullet big time!

That was 20 years and 30 lbs. ago LOL. Today I just ride for fun on nice days. I live 1 block from the Foothills trail:

and ride a comfort bike with a basket on the front.

Only place I ever hit a deer in my car was coming back to Leavenworth from Lake Wenatchee at night.

Luckily only my car was hurt.

Yes, this was on Entiat River Rd. about 4 miles from our house! The drive home from work is 35 miles, so, missed it by that much!

It was only a matter of time...which is why I've been urging him to ditch the bike for some time now. Kinda hard for a 64 year old danger man to want to do. But he's now convinced. He does enough other high risk stuff - should keep him satisfied.

Good to hear from you!!!

When it fell over and he couldn’t pick it up, he was embarrassed.

He is having a hard time accepting that he is getting older.

I just wanted to say I always enjoy your posts and comments. You’re very often a voice of reason and information!

My nephew and his family live in Coupeville and I’ve always wanted to come out and visit and see the Pacific NW. some day ....
