I just found out that I'm to be a grandfather.
My first born child is pregnant at 27. I am actually already a grampa from
my step-son. But this one made my heart soar. It will be a very lucky
child, two wonderful, good-looking, hard working parents. When she said
"Dad, I'm pregnant." the tears came rolling down. I'm so happy I think I added
a couple years to my life.
I told her I could never afford college tuition, so she ended second in her
high school of 500 and got a complete scholarship. Now works for the Fed
in Richmond, Va. They're paying for her Masters in Econ at Penn State.

As my mother told me, “If I’d have known grandkids were so much fun, I would have had them first!” She was right! I now have three of my own.
