No doubt about it. Love the pathetic look on the face of the first dog. Also the black and white dog in the small basket. I love dogs and cats.

he would at times take the dogs bed and the dog knew not to mess with him if the cat was sleeping as it was a lesson he learned the hard way.

There are a lot of people that think like that, too, unfortunately. Some people's kids come to mind.

But here's the thing: If you don't have a dog, and if you buy a beautiful cat bed, your cat will look at it disdainfully and check out the nearest box, or just a mat in front of the fireplace or any spot where the sun shines!

I can tell you, guarantee you, those cats KNOW just what they are doing.

This is only the beginning too - the cats are...communicating. They are about to take over the world!

We got the kitten, Princess when she was about 5 weeks old. Our little dog Lucky adopted her as her baby. A more loving and careful mother you would never see. I took the dog to the vet for something and told the vet how much like a mother Lucky was. The vet squeezed Lucky's tits and she'd even made milk for the kitten.

Lucky passed away years back and Princess, the cat, died of old age. She was 19 years old.

I love this old picture and miss those 2 sweet little friends.

take a kitten, not even 8-10 is recommended anymore. The current thinking is more like 12. All animals need a certain amt of Mom time for good development and avoiding behavior problems. But luckily Lucky was there and knew exactly what to do! Sounds like she needed to be Mom as much as the kitten needed a mom.

We got the kitten at a Saturday garage sale. The woman who was holding the sale was trying to give the mama cat and kittens away, said if any left on Monday, she was taking to the city pound.

We had a little feral cat who dropped 4 tiny kittens on our porch, about 3 to 4 weeks old. I think her milk had dried up, she was so little and so lean and poor looking. I raised these 4 kittens on a bottle, still have them 1 1/2 yrs. later, they are my big fat kitties now.

Fed him.
Made himself at home.
The two dogs would try to bully him.
Then the cat brought out his secret weapon.
Claws!
The dogs are now his servants. Walk around him carefully.
Has top spot on the bed.
He wakes me up at 5 am for a feed. At 7 am to be let out.

So that is two dogs and 2 adults bullied by one cat. All within the space of a few months.

Cats will rule the world one day . . . . one day, soon.

I can’t decide which one I like the best. #2 is a strong contender. But #3...that little cat making 2 large dogs stay on the floor. Words fail me.

Lounging lazily, stretching, enjoying the bed, right in front of, I assume, is the true owner of the bed.
