(14,145 posts)Figured she took it more seriously,... her bridal gown was quite the fancy and formal dress. But the groom sneakers, rolled up sleeves, and no top coat.
Different strokes/folks. If the bride and groom are happy,.. that is what really counts.

It was my grandma everyone was afraid of, most especially me. She could say the meanest nastiest things imaginable, at the worst possible moment, often in a moment of silence.
I wasn't worried Spot would flame broil and eat our Priest, that shit happens, especially in my family. Rather I was worried my grandma might say something so horrible it would cause our Priest to burst into flames and incinerate everyone, condemning all to hell even our Priest just for the sin of comprehending it.

I'd say it was rude as it takes attention off where it should be.
But the cool factor is there-if it had been ALL T-Rex bridesmaids I'd call best wedding ever.

(36,845 posts)'I was trying to think of something that I would be willing to wear more than once and thought to myself, "Well, she did say anything, and if I'm spending more than $50, I want it to be a dinosaur costume, because they're fantastic and I've always wanted one.
'I sent her a text so that she could have a laugh - surprisingly she was ok with it!'
In the months that followed, Christina admitted she would randomly change her mind and offer up other equally ridiculous outfits to the bride-to-be, including a Tardis from Doctor Who, but the dinosaur costume 'stuck' with her.
'But it wasn't me, it was a kid and his friend who was just cruising the neighborhood in another T-Rex costume!
'The point was to get married to the man who treats me like I hung the moon, and we did that part.'
She added: 'My sister is awesome and I genuinely was not kidding when I said she could wear whatever she wanted.'
