I walked outside to go to work, and it wasn't hot!!
First time since spring that I've gone out in the morning and not slammed by oppressive heat.
According to my car, it was 82 degrees!
By the time I got to work, it was 91....but it's a sign of things to come!!
Yay!!

I'm SO OVER SUMMER, man ... only had 1 decent monsoon FFS. That sucked.

(27,119 posts)Granted, our "patio" consists of a tarp stretched over a metal framework.
The tarps wear out pretty regularly, getting beaten up by sun, so that one was due to be replaced.
We just weren't thrilled about doing it in the middle of a storm.
(Our washer and dryer are out on the back patio, which is why we didn't want to wait for the storm to be over).

(33,643 posts)That one was pretty awesome ... had three thunderclaps during that one that literally sounded like somebody shot a cannon just outside my window ... lightning must've been like RIGHT HERE.
At least when you have to go out in a monsoon to deal with something ... it's still like 90 degrees out lol ...

Made our dog super mad.
He doesn't get scared of thunder, he gets angry.

(2,945 posts)is down and the dew point is too. Right now, at 10:30 am, it's 96 degrees, 11% humidity and 33 dew point.
It should be a great night for watching the Fri. 13th full moon!
