I'm an old liberal

Yup, I admit it. I've weathered the days when the very word liberal was associated with murderers, rapists, drug dealers and all manner of nasties and still cling to being a card carrying, tree hugging, commie, pinko, fag, junkie liberal.. Ahhh! The good old days are back! It's ok to be a tree hugging, commie, pinko, fag, junkie liberal.

So the right-wing demonizes liberals and some are so spineless that they started calling themselves progressives so as not to upset the half-wits. Did conservatives invent another name for themselves because liberals don't like conservatives? Hell no!
