I will also want to see Harriet, but I know her story and that will be a mix of uplift and dark. While Mister Rogers is likely to be pure balm to my darkened psyche, given these hard times.

But, yeah, Tom Hanks, our modern day GOOD GUY, playing the ultimate GOOD GUY of recent times. WHat's not to love?

As someone else mentioned, Lawrence of Arabia. The cinematography alone makes it the obvious choice and there's a lot more great things about it.

I liked Flyboys too. I was surprised how much I got into it, as I'm not usually into war films all that much.

Some others I liked:

127 Hours

Apollo 13

It Could Happen To You

Dead Man Walking

Argo

Malcom X

Stand and Deliver

The Buddy Holly Story

Bonnie and Clyde

Dog Day Afternoon

Munich

The Bank Job

The Untouchables

staring Gene Hackman, Barbara Hershey, Dennis Hopper

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091217/

Story Line:

Based on the true story of a small-town Indiana team that made the state finals in 1954, this movie chronicles the attempts of a coach with a spotty past, and the town's basketball-loving drunk to lead their high school team to victory....

"It is loosely based on the Milan High School team that won the 1954 state championship."
