When our sons were little, if my husband would ask to "try a bite" of something they were enjoying, they would look at me is great distress, because he takes huge bites of most things. One of them even said, one time. "If Dad takes a bite, it's going to be half gone!" The kid was right.

The roof is ganache Of course that could be ice cream which could be sliced into the shapes and applied then the whole thing could sit in the freezer. There is a layer of ganache all around the cake part which would provide sticking power for the ice cream.
