getting surprised by a dog as a gift. They all have the same reaction, no matter the age or the gender. They all cry with happiness. A dog is pure love.

My daughter is now 45, but I will never forget her response when she got a cocker spaniel puppy for Christmas when she was 10. She had wanted a puppy since she could talk, but I waited until she was old enough to care for it properly. She took such good care of that little thing and he lived to be almost 16.
