New record of 74 degrees here in Wichita which erases a high from 96 years ago. Usually on SBS you can't keep enough wood on the fire. Today,setting out on the deck in shorts downing a few cold ones.

We don't get Duluth's cold or Buffalo's snow here, so I'm always careful to not complain about the severity of our winter. But, we have had no winter to complain about. It's February, and I think we've had one daytime high below 30. I miss winter

(20,220 posts)I don't think we had a good hard freeze all winter. That means fleas, mosquitoes and roaches will be worse than usual this summer.

Just as I got tonEmporia the snow started blowing, never a welcomed sign for a trucker on a tight schedule.
