(24,725 posts)Never know where on the floor the little whirlwinds will be, you can't lift each foot up to walk like a normal person. Instead, your feet never leave the ground as you slide around your house. The Kitty Shuffle, very popular in foster homes!❤
is almost 4 years old and I still do the kitty shuffle especially at night. I have a great fear of falling-particularly on her as well as breaking my hip or other extremity.

(53,410 posts)I can see pretty much all my floors. The lights in the bathrooms are bright enough that I dont need to flick the wall switch and so is the kitchen. There is no way I want to fall down or step on my cat! I can see him too, even though hes on the dark side.

(53,410 posts)My cat does other things for mischief. Attacking the rug corners is one of them which is another reason for the lights.

(24,725 posts)Their most fun trick is to jump from one kitchen counter to the other while I'm mid stride, throwing me off balance. Like I say, they're going to break my leg, but oh, well!❤

size. I slipped my feet out of sandals and she plunged her two front paws into one of them, with a devilish, playful expression, as if she understood the joke of them being too big for her. Of course she didn't understand that, but it was incredibly cute and funny.

(923 posts)It was my step-daughter's cat and we kept the cat at our place while she was looking for a place to live that allowed cats.
The cat was a lanky black cat named "Beeper" (she didn't meow - she "beeped" ).
One night my wife went out to the kitchen to get a glass of water and, as she passed the fridge, the cat swatted her hair. Scared the bejeezus out of my wife.

(25,355 posts)posture, like she's a mountain lion ready to pounce on me. When I don't react, she switches to knocking magnets with their notes ontobthe floor for attention.
She also goes to the top of the cupboards, just below the ceiling to watch while I'm cooking.
