Movies to calm you at times like these....(NOT) Spoilers...

Keeping in my optimistic theme I have been watching various movies. I was hoping to de-sensitize myself so I'd stop worrying. Hasn't worked yet for some reason. Ok-my short list.
So far I''ve watched
Outbreak (Theater scene from hell otherwise predictable)
Contagion (2011 version & OMG this one is scary)
I've got World War Z up next. I saw it but thanks to my poor memory it will be new to me for at least 3/4 of the film.

Any other good bio scifi's?

I have not seen The Stand.Strange how long term memory still works at least for now. I can recall the entire plot of Andromeda Strain but nothing of the Z movie.

A black comedy about a dirty bomb being set off. A bunch of 30 something couples having brunch and slowly freaking out.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Another black comedy. Might be too sweet for you.

WWZ is a Zombie movie- She's into those. I'm not.
She also suggested the Resident Evil series for that genre.

I'll check out the suggestions above & thanks!

is much higher, the deception by the CDC and the WHO is surprisingly much worse here in the real world.
Was Outbreak good?

I remembered more of it due to its being release farther back. So I was hard to impress but to me the "Theater" scene was all too real. It involved a Ebola virulent.

Did you mean ROI or am I missing something. (Rate of infection). And like I said-Contagion 2011 scared me or scarred me..... Just it seems to be a very close analogy to this ongoing crisis. And a Novel Corona as the virulent yikes.

"Flu" (a Korean film), "Panic in the Streets" (1950's Elia Kazan film), and a number of documentaries - "Unseen Enemy", "Virus Empire" and "The Coming Pandemic".

I'm not sure why I am doing this to myself, but strangely enough, it's not making me more panicked. If anything, it's de-sensitizing me, like you were intending.

Open to other suggestions if anyone has any!
