Keeping in my optimistic theme I have been watching various movies. I was hoping to de-sensitize myself so I'd stop worrying. Hasn't worked yet for some reason. Ok-my short list.
So far I''ve watched
Outbreak (Theater scene from hell otherwise predictable)
Contagion (2011 version & OMG this one is scary)
I've got World War Z up next. I saw it but thanks to my poor memory it will be new to me for at least 3/4 of the film.
Any other good bio scifi's?

(1,023 posts)A black comedy about a dirty bomb being set off. A bunch of 30 something couples having brunch and slowly freaking out.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Another black comedy. Might be too sweet for you.

She also suggested the Resident Evil series for that genre.
I'll check out the suggestions above & thanks!

Was Outbreak good?

(2,533 posts)I remembered more of it due to its being release farther back. So I was hard to impress but to me the "Theater" scene was all too real. It involved a Ebola virulent.

(2,533 posts)Did you mean ROI or am I missing something. (Rate of infection). And like I said-Contagion 2011 scared me or scarred me..... Just it seems to be a very close analogy to this ongoing crisis. And a Novel Corona as the virulent yikes.

I'm not sure why I am doing this to myself, but strangely enough, it's not making me more panicked. If anything, it's de-sensitizing me, like you were intending.
Open to other suggestions if anyone has any!
