transmitted to dogs, including Salmonella, Campylobacter and many others. Even if the baby is healthy, this is just SOOOOO not a good idea. These bacterial organisms can (unlike COVID-19 and most human viruses) be passed back and forth.

Especially in the face. I'm all for dogs and kids, even babies, but don't let your dog or cat lick the babies face or hands unless you can wash immediately.

probably not a good idea to have the dog know how to get into the refrigerator. Your pimento loaf will never be safe again.
