Clearly, the show was missing an important ingredient by not having a live studio audience. I don't blame him for not wanting to continue on in such a crippled fashion.

It was after Trumps state of the union speech. It was a lot of fun. We watched the speech in the theater and then saw a live taping of the show. I will miss the late night talk shows. They help keep me sane during the trump administration. I've also seen a taping of Seth Meyers and Samantha Bee's shows.

He did an excellent job in spite of having no audience. Some of the staff of the show sat in the audience. Kimmel's people helped him along with old clips and a cute skit of Pete looking for a job now that he's not a candidate.

Kimmel's people handled the lack of having an audience with class and humor. The show didn't suffer and I hope they don't suspend production like Cobert.

Good grief, grow up already!

If ABC tells Kimmel "no more production" his plug will be pulled as well.

CBS said they will not tape the three original episodes scheduled for next week, and they had already planned a one week "hiatus" for the following week, and were looking to resume production on March 30.
So, no final decision yet.

That helps me cope after a day of abysmal Trump news and I try to pay it forward for those who don't stay up or have TV. I've done it for close to 3 years so I'll be lost without it.

Colbert, Meyers, Bee, Oliver and Noah--all of these bright and funny people give me information and help me to process my fear and anger so that it doesn't bring down my spirits.
