(23,388 posts)I find out about it just when I need a signature guarantee to sell a mutual fund before I lose a few thousand $$ more. Anything other than drive-thru transactions are by appointment only, and I'm now told that the only person in the branch that can do it is currently on vacation and won't be back til late next week. Waiting for that, I could lose a few thousand $$ more.
I would happily drive to the downtown main office to get it, but that's a thirty-mile drive and my driving foot is still crippled and not up to a sixty-mile round trip on a freeway and in downtown traffic (maybe traffic wouldn't be so bad, but stoplights would be killer for me.)
