3. i remember once

while working in a campus computer lab, a student came to me and asked for help, went to his station and on the monitor was a huge fat black vertical stripe,
encompassing most of his screen.. i asked him what he was doing, he said writing a paper... so i scrolled down the screen and it went on and on this huge
black vertical stripe, til eventually i came to a fat horizontal black stripe across the bottom...
checked and he'd set somehow his font size to 1000+ or something...
switched it back to 12pt... 😳

now i use a magnifying glass for such doodah, and take it with me everywhere...
but the ear trumpet, now that's a pain
