It is fizzy yellow water. Just like Bud-Miller-Coors.

Good news is that I can still find a good supply of craft beer at my grocery store.

Personally I’ve never drank a Corona. Tried it and even had the lime but just never cared for the beer. Dos Equis is my go to for Mexican beer

3. This has to be a joke. Staged to look like idiots are avoiding Corona beer.

4. In the early 80s there was an OTC diet pill called AYDS

Right after the AIDS virus was named the diet pill (which was probably a bit of B-12 and caffiene) either went out of business or rebranded.

Foreign name can be tricky in other countries. Chevy marketed their popular model the Nova in Mexico. Problem as no va translates into Spanish as Not Going.
Also, when Pepsi was introduced into China their slogan was "Come alive with Pepsi,' which roughly translated as "come back from the dead with Pepsi."

For emergencies only, I put that case of PBR out in the garage.

12. I was raised on PBR

I read years ago that PBR had 80% of the market share in the South in the 1970s.
There was a carhop drive-in in my home town. You could pull up and stick 2 or 4 fingers out of the car and they would bring out that many ice cold PBRs. 40 or 50 cents apiece I think? Beer and wine were legal at 18, but no one ever checked IDs. If you were 16 you were old enough to drive at night and old enough to be served at Bill’s Drive In.

Welcome to Bills Drive In have a cold one,
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place) such a lovely face.
There's plenty of beer at Bills Drive In have a cold one
Any time of year (any time of year) you can find it here.

I think that kid visiting from California, Don Henley, stole my song.
