Just got back from the supermarket. It was fairly well-stocked. The only things I wasn't able to find were toilet paper and lactose-free milk. There was plenty of regular milk though. Lactose-free milk lasts A LOT longer than regular milk and I'm thinking that, maybe, people have figured that out.

(23,632 posts)when all reg milk was out... sort of a conflict about it, since i'd be depriving
someone who needed it, changed my mind 3 times, got 1 half gal
i think it's tasteless ... finally found reg milk so i'm mixing it
and yeh the date surprised me, expires in June 😳

(8,854 posts)I think it tastes the same as regular milk. I buy Lactaid brand. It doesn't seem tasteless to me. I love it. I had avoided milk for years because I am lactose intolerant.

(8,854 posts)...and didn't care for it at all. Don't know if it was the lack of lactose or just their particular recipe but the ice cream had no taste. I was surprised because their milk tastes fine to me.
